Day to Day Itinerary

Day 1 – Arrival in Nairobi, Kenya

Arrive at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, where you will be met by your professional safari guide. Transfer to your hotel in Nairobi for rest after your international flight. Depending on arrival time, enjoy a short city orientation. Dinner and overnight in Nairobi.

Day 2 – Nairobi to Maasai Mara National Reserve

After breakfast, depart Nairobi and drive to the famous Maasai Mara National Reserve. Enjoy scenic views of the Great Rift Valley en route. Arrive in time for lunch, followed by an afternoon game drive. Dinner and overnight at your lodge or tented camp in the Maasai Mara.

Day 3 – Full Day Safari in Maasai Mara

Spend the entire day exploring the Maasai Mara with morning and afternoon game drives. The reserve is home to the Big Five and, seasonally, the Great Migration. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the wilderness. Dinner and overnight in the Maasai Mara.

Day 4 – Maasai Mara to Lake Nakuru National Park

After breakfast, drive to Lake Nakuru National Park. Enjoy an afternoon game drive, spotting flamingos, white and black rhinos, giraffes, and diverse birdlife. Dinner and overnight at a lodge near Lake Nakuru.

Day 5 – Lake Nakuru to Lake Naivasha

Depart Lake Nakuru after breakfast and travel to Lake Naivasha. Enjoy a relaxing boat safari among hippos and water birds, with an optional walking safari on Crescent Island. Dinner and overnight at a lakeside lodge.

Day 6 – Lake Naivasha to Amboseli National Park

After breakfast, drive south to Amboseli National Park, famous for its large elephant herds and stunning views of Mount Kilimanjaro. Enjoy an afternoon game drive. Dinner and overnight in Amboseli.

Day 7 – Amboseli to Arusha, Tanzania

Enjoy a morning game drive in Amboseli before crossing the Kenya–Tanzania border. Continue to Arusha town, the gateway to Tanzania’s northern safari circuit. Dinner and overnight in Arusha.

Day 8 – Arusha to Tarangire National Park

After breakfast, drive to Tarangire National Park, known for its elephant populations, baobab trees, and seasonal wildlife concentrations. Enjoy a full-day game drive with picnic lunch. Dinner and overnight near Karatu.

Day 9 – Lake Manyara National Park

Depart after breakfast for Lake Manyara National Park. Explore lush forests, open plains, and the lakeshore, home to flamingos and tree-climbing lions. Dinner and overnight in Karatu.

Day 10 – Ngorongoro Crater Safari

Begin early and descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a full-day safari. Encounter lions, elephants, buffaloes, hippos, and the endangered black rhino. Picnic lunch on the crater floor. Dinner and overnight near Ngorongoro.

Day 11 – Ngorongoro to Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, travel through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area to Serengeti National Park. Enjoy game viewing en route across the endless plains. Dinner and overnight at a lodge or tented camp in the Serengeti.

Day 12 – Full Day Serengeti Safari

Spend the entire day on morning and afternoon game drives in the Serengeti. Depending on the season, witness the Great Migration. Enjoy a picnic lunch or meals at camp. Dinner and overnight in the Serengeti.

Day 13 – Serengeti to Arusha / Departure
