Kilimanjaro Park Day Trip are For those who arent  wishing to undertake the gruelling climb to the summit but still wishing to experience some of the natural beauty on offer in Kilimanjaro National Park, this trip is for you. You will be picked up from your hotel in Moshi and transferred to the Marangu Gate of the National Park (approx. 30-40 min drive). For the day trip, you will effectively be doing the first day of the total climb- through the lush rainforest ecosystem. From the Marangu gate, accompanied by your professional mountain guide, you will hike to the Mandara Huts, at an altitude of 2700m. You will stop here for lunch and then take a short walk to view the Maundi crater, from where you can see the view of both the Mawenzi peak and Kibo peak (the summit). This hike, suitable for anyone of average fitness, takes approximately 3 hours each way. You will have plenty of time to stop and take in the variety of fauna and flora found in the national park, including the Black and White colobus monkey and the Kilimanjaro passionflower, unique to the ecosystem of Kilimanjaro. Following your hike, you will return to the gate at Marangu and be transferred back to your hotel in Moshi (arrive in approximately 5 pm). Included: Professional mountain guide, park entrance fees, lunch, water, transport to and from the gate of the national park. What you need to bring: comfortable walking shoes (hiking boots not necessary), lightweight rain jacket, sun hat and sunscreen. Lake Manyara National Park

Arusha  – Lake Manyara National Park: (330 sq. km 127 sq. miles) We will pick you up from Arusha city from your Hotel at 7:30 am and then we drive to Lake Manyara National Park with packed lunch boxes, it takes about 2hrs drives to get there and then we will have a game viewing. This impressive National Park is one of Tanzania’s most dramatically located wildlife areas, consisting of a massive but shallow soda lake (covering two-thirds of the park) at the foot of the Great Rift Valley’s western escarpment. The Park’s varied habitat attracts a wide variety of animals, including one of Africa’s largest concentrations of Elephants; Manyara is famous for a Tree-climbing lion, as well as large flocks of flamingos attracted by the algae in the lake. Late afternoon around 4-5 pm we return back to Arusha and we will drop you at your Hotel/Lodge. Ngorongoro Crater Trip

If you have only one day and want to make the best out of it, we have something for you. We arrange day trips to visit the 8th wonder of the world Ngorongoro crater. You will be picked up by your professional driver guide early in the morning and start your journey, you will have a wildlife viewing and afterwards having lunch at wonderful place called Ngoitokitoki spring. Around late afternoon after having the best memories of the Crater you will start your journey back to Arusha. Depart after breakfast to the Ngorongoro conservation area via Ngorongoro Crater Day Trip. You’ll descend into the crater very early in the morning for a full day game drive with a picnic lunch midday at the base of the crater. One of the 8th Wonder of the World, the crater is a very important refuge for a variety of wildlife. Most commonly seen are big bulls of elephants and the vulnerable species of black rhinos. The crater is also home to big herds of wildebeest and zebras, Thomson and grant gazelles, hippopotamus, African cape buffaloes, prides of lions, hyenas, serval cats, golden and black-backed jackals, and close to 400 species of birds. Then at the late afternoon, you will start to drive out all the way to the hotel. Arusha Park Day

After breakfast, you are met by our professional tour guide/driver,ready for Arusha Park Day Trip, after which we travel east to the Arusha National Park. This small but beautiful Tanzanian National Park is the closest national park to both the famous Arusha “safari town” (40 km) as well as the Kilimanjaro International Airport, thus making it ideal for 1-day safaris or tours. Not only is the animal life in the park abundant, but it is also one of the most beautiful and topographically varied parks in Tanzania. The park’s three most significant features include the rugged Mount Meru (Tanzania’s second-highest peak at 4566m), the notably different coloured Momela Lakes, and the 3km wide Ngurdoto Crater, which was formed about fifteen million years ago We will enjoy a picnic lunch inside the park and do a morning and afternoon game drive, visiting both the Momela Lakes and the Ngurdoto Crater. Wildlife which could be seen include African buffalos, elephants, hippos, giraffe, warthogs, antelopes, zebras, blue monkeys and sometimes a rare leopard or hyena. Late afternoon we depart for Arusha where we will end our safari adventure. Maasai Village

Materuni Waterfalls

This very impressive Waterfall is one of the tallest in the area, spewing crystal-clear glacier water 70m into its basin. The beautiful path leading to Materuni Waterfall is located 2500m above sea level. It traverses thru valleys and hills covered by tropical rainforest, past coffee, banana, and avocado “shambas”, the Kiswahili word for farms. On a clear day, great views of Kibo and Moshi town can be seen. The hike to the base of the Waterfall can be demanding and hiking boots are recommended. As this trip is so close to Moshi town it is ideal for those people with limited time but who would still like to see some of the nature and beauty that this region of Tanzania has to offer. Materuni is one of the few villages of wonder in Northern Tanzania sitting at the foot of Mount Kilimanjaro. The village is blessed full of all beauty and worth visiting for holidays, weekend outings, or vacations. While in the village, the scenic view of Moshi Town and Mount Kilimanjaro is astonishing. This green village with fresh air from green vegetation welcomes visitors to explore the beauty of the land and the cultural heritage of the Chagga people. A cultural experience such as banana beer brewed or coffee roasted the traditional way can be added to your hike. Itinerary:First, you will visit the waterfalls, which are around a 40-minute walk away. On the way, your guide will inform you about the culture of the Chagga, and village life and explain the surrounding fauna and flora. The views are truly breathtaking, and with some luck, you will see the summit of Kilimanjaro. When you reach the waterfalls, you will see that they are more than 80 meters high. The pool at the bottom of the waterfall is an inviting place for a refreshing swim so don‘t forget your swimwear! After having enjoyed the scenery, you slowly return with your guide to Materuni village, where you will experience a traditional Chagga lunch. You also will have the opportunity to taste our local banana beer – definitely not to be missed! But that’s not all. Next, the coffee experience awaits you. Here you will learn how coffee is cultivated, dried, roasted, and further processed. You will also be invited to help with the grinding of the coffee, which is traditionally accompanied by Chagga songs and dances – a fun way to immerse yourself in the local culture. Before you say goodbye and return in the afternoon to Moshi, you can savour the coffee you made and appreciate the views of the surrounding rainforest.
